Linda Diane Theriault
1952-2017
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden death of
Linda Theriault. Born in Grand Falls, NB to Delecie Page and the late
Camille Theriault, Linda moved to Fredericton in 1972. She worked for
the New Brunswick Schools of Nursing (two year program) for 21 years.
She then went to work for the provincial government in various
branches of Social Development, most notably the Child Adoption
branch.
In addition to her mother, Linda is survived by her siblings,
Barbara Black (Stephen) of Fredericton, NB, Doreen Theriault (Steve
Durepos) of Grand Falls, NB, Pat Campbell (Jamie) of Fredericton, NB,
Camille Theriault of Grand Falls, NB and Guy Theriault (Cheryl) of
Fredericton, NB. She will be greatly missed by her 4 nieces, Lisa Pyne
(Brad) of Winnipeg, MB, Julie Murray (Luke) of Stanley, NB, Page
Campbell and Gabrielle Theriault of Fredericton, NB; two nephews, Ryan
Campbell (Eloise Forbes) and Sebastian Theriault of Fredericton, NB.
She is also leaving behind two great-nieces, Mackenzie and Anna Pyne
of Winnipeg, MB, and Lucas Murray of Stanley, NB.
Family meant everything to Linda. She was always ready and
willing to help out in any capacity and there is nothing she enjoyed
more than spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was a kind,
caring, considerate person who always put others needs ahead of her
own.
In her spare time she enjoyed making crafts, knitting,
crocheting, tole painting, cross stitching and embroidery, to name a
few. She loved being outdoors and in the spring and summer she could
often be found outside planting flowers and
landscaping.
Resting at McAdams Funeral Home, 160 York Street,
Fredericton, NB, from where visiting will take place on Thursday,
March 2, 2017 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at St. Dunstans Catholic Church on Friday, March 3, 2017 at
11:00 AM with Fr. Bill Brennan as celebrant. Interment will take place
in Hermitage Cemetery in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to
the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB, the Canadian Cancer Society, or
any charity of the donor’s choice.
Cherished daughter and sister, much loved aunt, she will
forever be in our hearts and so very missed.
