It is with heavy hearts that the family announces on Tuesday March 28th at the age of 62 years, after a lengthy battle with Cancer, Lilliane Simone Marie Moreau nee Ferguson passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Mom will be forever and lovingly cherished by her very own Angel on Earth, our Father Roger, her loving Children Chantal (Ian) Liane, Marcel.
She was the most amazing Mémère ever to her Grandchildren Bryana (Alex), Noah (Jordan), Thalya and Kolton and her great-grandchildren Lilly and Eli.
She is pre-deceased by her parents Evelyne and Berthelimie Ferguson, her sisters Sylvia (Kit) Franolla, Stella Guillemette and her brothers Vic, Claude and Rolly Ferguson.
She is survived by her loving siblings Gert Boisvert (Ron), Gil, Rick (Lorraine), Robert (Pauline), Ron (Joanne), Yvon (Anita), Steve(Cathy).
She also leaves behind the Moreau and Jodouin families and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
She will be dearly missed by her over 50’s club card night group, Diane Gagnon, Cathy Ferguson, Paulette Ferguson and Linda Brousseau and her friends Felix and Gabby Gallant.
She will be missed by many others as well.
Those she worked with at Vet’s Taxi, her friends at Old Mill Campground and many others that she connected with over the years.
Mom loved to be surrounded by her friends and family and especially her grand-children.
She was happiest when she was making them laugh and giggle.
She spent countless hours playing with them and all the kids that would come by the house.
Even when she was sick she would tell us to let them play.
Their noise and laughter never bothered her.
Instead we know they brought her joy and kept her going.
Mom always shad an open-door policy.
She would tell everyone, coffee is on.
We enjoyed endless bowls of Lilly Soup she would make us and she was known to make loaves of egg salad sandwiches for family functions.
Mom touched the lives and hearts of so many people.
We couldn’t possibly name them all here.
We say thank you to each and every one of you and especially to our doting Father for loving her the way that he did.
The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Marnie Chisholm who took over Mom’s care and ensured that anything Mom needed was put in place.
We are fortunate to have had such a beautiful, calming Facility staffed with beautiful people to help us during Mom’s final Journey home.
A memorial service will be held at 12 pm (noon) on Saturday April 1, 2017 in the funeral home chapel.
A reception will follow in the Lessard-Stephens Reception Centre
The family will receive friends on Saturday April 1 from 10am-12pm at
