Peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge in Brockville, with her family by her side, on Wednesday September 14th, 2016. Lillian (Read) of Brockville age 98 years. Beloved wife of the late Keith Stone. Loving mother of Margo Stone (Sharon) of Brockville, Lynne Kover (Ken) of Alberta, Beth LaSalle (Jerry), Joanne Gudmundsson (Stefan) and Jeff Stone (Cindy) all of Brockville. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late William and Margaret (Beattie) Read. Dear sister of the late John, Guy, William, Edith, Florence and Athalie. Also missed by sister-in-law Gwen Shields, dear friend Donna Worden and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel Saturday September 17th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Read’s Cemetery. In memory of Lillian donations to the Read’s Cemetery. St. Lawrence Lodge Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
