Obituary
Leslie Parry’s life journey came to a close as he passed away peacefully on October 22, 2016, at the age of 98 years.
Les, an only child, was born in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, and immigrated with his now predeceased parents, Abraham and Miriam Parry. He graduated from the University of Alberta, and went on to teach in Mercoal, Cadomin, and Edmonton. Although never married, Les maintained a close friendship with the late Esther Stevens.
He will be lovingly missed by Affa Heustis; adopted nephew, Douglas Fraser; and countless friends, staff, and past students who were touched by his caring and loving nature.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
