Goodick,Leo Robert – age 82, of Hammonds Plains passed away October 15, 2016 at the QE II, Victoria General Site. Born in Lower Sandy Point, Shelburne County he was the son of the late Louis and Beatrice Goodick (Nickerson). Leo loved people and talked to everyone he met. He was the most excellent cook and enjoyed baking, preserving and cooking for family and friends. Leo built many bird houses and bird feeders. Edith and Leo enjoyed sitting on their deck watching the birds in the evenings. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Edith Gertrude (Phillipson); daughters, Lynn Marie, Dana Louise, Gail; sister, Joyce Burridge and family; brothers Earl (Mary Lou) and family; Armand (Sylvia); grandchildren Ryan, Mat, Erica, Brianne; great grandchildren, Ethan and Oscar. Cremation has taken place. A gathering of family and friends to pay respects will be held 1pm Wednesday, October 19 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive. Lower Sackville, Rev.
