Leland A. Baker
1932-2016
Surrounded by family, the death occurred peacefully of Leland Baker,
of Sherwood, PEI (formerly St. Peter’s Harbour, PEI) in his 84th
year, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre. Beloved husband of
Marjorie (MacMillan) Baker. Loving, and much loved father of Mary Lou
Snowie (Dave), Joanne Archer (David), Donna Grant (Michael), Ken Baker
(Roberta) and Janet Baker (Allan Dale). Proud Grampie of 13
grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers and
sisters Aldon Baker (Vivian, deceased), Lola Robbins (James), Wayne
Baker (Carmel), Jean Emery (Harvey) and Vera Baker. Resting at
Belvedere Funeral Home until Thursday at 9:45 then to St. Pius X
Church for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment in the Roman
Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visitation Wednesday 5-8 p.m. In
lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Provincial
Palliative Care Centre.
