Leisa Fowler
1956-2017
Leisa Fowler of Riverview, passed away at The Georges L.
Dumont University Hospital on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Born in Saint
John NB, she was the daughter of June (Trynor) and the late Gordon
Fowler.
Leisa had peace and solace knowing that she was going home to
be with her Lord. She was strong in her faith and was a caring and
loving friend to everyone she met. She enjoyed volunteering, being
with her family and spending time in Maces Bay. She loved her
colleagues at the Anglophone East School District, where she worked.
Leisa was a gifted vocalist who was passionate about using her talent
to honor God and instilled a similar passion for music in her
children.
Besides her mother, June of Saint John, she will be dearly
missed by her daughter, Nicole LeBlanc of Yellowknife, son, Andrew
LeBlanc (Patricia) of Riverview, granddaughter, Amelia
(Nana’s girl) and her sisters, Debbie (Bruce) of South
Carolina, Sandy of Saint John, brother, Donald Fowler (Nicole) of
Upham, and her dear friend, Kim Evans. She was predeceased by her
brother-in-law, Brad.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Wednesday, May 10 from 3-5 PM and 7-9
PM. A service celebrating Leisa’s life will take place at
Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Thursday, May 11,
2017, at 11 AM. Donations made to Compassion Canada would be greatly
