Giesbrecht, Frieda (nee Thiessen):
passed away peacefully with family by her side at Innisfree House on Wednesday October 26, 2016 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of Jacob for 63 years. Loving mother of Ted Giesbrecht (Karen), Betty Stickland (Mike), Alexander Giesbrecht and Jacob Giesbrecht Jr . Devoted Oma of Amy Musclow (Anthony), Matthew Giesbrecht (Christina), John-Paul Stickland (Monica), Christopher Stickland and Connor Stickland (Robin). Proud Great Oma to Marley Giesbrecht. Predeceased by parents Abram and Maria Thiessen.
Frieda was a longtime member of Wanner Mennonite Church. She volunteered for the Prison Ministry Program with great satisfaction.
Frieda’s family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 pm on Tuesday November 1, 2016 and from 10-10:45 am on Wednesday November 2, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519) 749-8467.
