Obituary
With very heavy hearts and much sadness, Donna (Kristy’s Mommy), Norman (Kristy’s Dad), Jacklyn (Kristy’s twin) and Rhiannon announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Kristy on February 10, 2017.
Kristy, also known as “Dude”, became and angel at the tender young age of 27, two weeks shy of her 28th birthday.
Kristy will forever remain in our hearts, colourful like a box of crayons, pink and purple being her favourite. She always forgave and held no grudge, she loved freely, she laughed from deep in her belly and saw humour in simple things. She taught us many lessons that will last with us forever. Kristy was a unique personality and brought a smile to all that knew her.
Her many passions in life included the love for her family, animals, music, and making her very own unique, homemade, thoughtful cards for anyone and everyone. She loved her many sleepovers at her sisters’ and relaxing in her pyjamas. She loved elephants, most especially “Lucy”.
Kristy will be very huge, badly, and very much sadly missed by her parents, Donna and Norm Henze, sisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her home away from home family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stollery Children’s Hospital are requested on behalf of Kristy McKee and Dr. Lyle F. McGonigle.
