Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Verna (2015). Loving father of Ken Jr. and Gail, Gary and Karen, and Glenn and Norma.
Loved Grandpa of Kimberly (Jim), Tim (Elaine), Jeffrey (Erena), Daniel, Kathy (Gord), Christopher (Heather), Alyssa, Candy, Tammy-Jean and six great-grandchildren.
Ken was a former employee of Kitchener Dairies and worked for over 25 years with the Waterloo Region Record. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, gardening, dancing and listening to country music. Ken was an extraordinarily creative story teller. Special thanks to Dr. Mallhi, Dr. Jolly and Dr. Langridge for their compassionate care.
Ken’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2016 and from 10-10:45 a.m. on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
