Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Robert Weidenhamer of Edmonton, Alberta after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, Bernice and Tom Weidenhamer.
Ken will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Carolyn; stepsons, Quinton (Sue) Cruise, and Travis (Sherlynn) Cruise; daughters, Lindsey and Laurie; sister Pat (Michael) Caley; grandchildren, Noah, Evelyn, Eloise, Silas and Kaiden.
Ken’s kind and gentle spirit, love of family, friends, and nature adventures are treasured memories for those he leaves behind. He now rests in the arms of the Lord.
Many thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at the Edmonton General 9Y Hospice Unit.
A Funeral Mass will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 12810-111 Avenue NW, Edmonton. A private urn interment will take place at a later date.
