It is with sadness, the family announces
the passing of Kenneth (Kenny) Hamilton of the Foyer
Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst and formerly of Campbellton, which
occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Thursday,
November 24, 2016 at the age of
83.
Born in Campbellton, he was the son of
the late Clarence and Violet (Day)
Hamilton.
Kenny was a loving husband and doting
grandfather and great-grandfather. His hobbies included rug
hooking, paint by number and to occasionally
bake.
He is survived by his wife Eunice
(Gaudet) Hamilton.
Three stepchildren: Fred McKiel (Jeanne)
of South Tetagouche, Darlene McKiel of Grand Cayman Island,
Karen McKiel Finlay (Bill) of Kitchener,
ON.
Two brothers: Jim (Georgie) of
Dartmouth, NS, Rev. David (Diane) of Summerside,
PEI.
Two sisters: Shirley Dobson (late Ralph)
of Montreal, QC, Natalie Hamilton, New Jersey,
USA.
Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren,
nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a brother George
and a step-son, Danny.
Funeral service will be held Friday,
December 2, 2016 at 3 pm, from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel. The
family will receive relatives and friends 1 hour before the
service.
Donations in memory of Kenneth may be
made to the Lung Association or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
