Kathryn Purvis Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital with her loving family by her side on Thursday August 11, 2016 at the age of 82 years.Kathryn Purvis (nee Risto) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Gordon Purvis . Cherished and loved mother of Gregory Purvis and Jayne Deroy (Gerald), both of Pembroke. Loving grandmother to Jennifer Tremblay (Bernie), Jordan Palmer and Megan McAndrews (Nolan) and great grandchildren Jack and Tyler, Patrick and Lexi.. Dear sister of Wayne Hampel and the late Phyllis Hampel (late Vern). Daughter of the late Verner and Clara (nee Sack) Risto and step daughter of the late Helen Hampel Risto (nee Lance). Friends are invited to share their memories of Kathryn with her family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Monday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday morning August 16 at 10:30 a.m. in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Miller Street, Pembroke.
