It is with heavy hearts that the family of
Katharine Dawn Myshrall announces the passing of their beloved wife,
mother and grandmother at the age of 73. Dawn is survived by her
husband of 57 years, Joseph (Joe) Michael Myshrall, children Barbara
Parker, Richard Myshrall, Michael Myshrall and Shelley Williamson, and
granddaughters Shelby Parker and Katie Myshrall.
Family was of the utmost importance to Dawn. She drew great
joy from spending time with her children and grandchildren, who loved
her dearly. An avid gardener and Scrabble wizard, Dawn made friends
easily and maintained many life-long friendships.
After growing up in Charlotte County, NB, Dawn spent her
adult years in Fredericton alongside her husband Joe. In pursuit of
her dream to work as a nurse, Dawn returned to high school at the age
of 37 to complete her schooling before studying toward her Bachelor of
Nursing at the University of New Brunswick. An impeccable grammarian,
Dawn spent many years as a proofreader at Maritime Law Book before her
retirement.
Those who wish may make a donation to the charity of their
choice or the NB Lung Association. While Dawn is resting at
McAdam’s Funeral Home, there will be no visitation at the
request of the family. A memorial service will be held at a later
date.
