Obituary for Karen Lyn Csordas (Porter)
CSORDAS, Karen (nee Porter) – It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Karen Csordas on Friday, November 3, 2017 in her 71st year. Karen passed away the same way she lived each day of her life …with dignity, faith, and surrounded by the love of her family. Beloved wife of Roy for 49 Years. Cherished mother of Kelly Bleich (Brian) and Kevin Csordas. Loving grandmother of Riley and Connor. Dear sister of Wayne Porter (Louise) and sister-in- law of Irene Vetrecin (late John). Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Stan and Marion Porter.
Karen was an active member of Central United Church, and a former member of Rolling Meadows Golf Course. Karen always remained positive and hopeful and faced her illness with great courage and a radiant smile that never left her.
The Family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home , 241 West Main Street, Welland on Tuesday, November 7th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Respecting Karen’s wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Hospice Niagara for their outstanding care and compassion. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Hospice Niagara or Central United Church.
