It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce the peaceful passing of June Rochon at the age of 63 years. On February 11,2017 at the Timmins District Hospital. June will be forever in the hearts of her sisters Patricia Blakemore (Nakusp, B.C.) Bernadette (Garry) Krawchuk (The Pas, Mb.), Claire Rochon (Timmins,Ontario) Jean-Guy Duciaume (Timmins,Ontario) Love of her Life, longtime boyfriend who June met when she was 27 years old ,almost 37 years ago. Nieces and nephews.
June was a private person, but also enjoyed socializing whenever she met someone. Family and Friends were most important to her , she always asked how each family member was doing. June needed to be Loved which we always reassured her we Love her very much. June Bug as she was called touched the lives of many in her expanded family Circle of Care friends. She had this special way of always challenging us and forever keeping us on our toes. It was important that she was treated with respect as she did with others, embraced Life on a sometimes very Rocky journey. A woman with a strong belief «My Body, My Life». Like the song «I did it my way». She had a genuine sensitive ,caring , and playful joking nature and had a special gift if she knew you needed something, June would just pick up the phone and somehow got help, or just a simple pleasure of sharing a cup of tea, her piece of cheese and crackers, favorite piece of pizza or KFC. June enjoyed old movies especially the series «I Love Lucy». June the art of beautiful colouring, also enjoyed partying and especially dancing. She was the first to shed a tear when encountering a sad event and made sure you were informed of it. The family would like to thank so many people ,for June was truly grateful and appreciative to all the Professional at TDH and in the Community, O.D.S.P., C.M.H.A., SIL, C.L.T.I.C., CCAC, Diabetic Center, Woman Crisis Center, C.N.I.B. ,Red Cross,who provided compassion, kindness and countless hours of service in her Circle of Care. You will be lovingly remembered and we will hold you close within our hearts and there our amazing gem of a sister June Bug shall remain.
Pre-deceased by parents Marie and Ralph Rochon, sister Barbara Allaire, brother George Rochon, brother’s-in-law Ernie Blakemore and Raymond Allaire.

To Celebrate June’s Life the family will receive friends on February 21, 2017 between 12:00-2:00 p.m.at the Vic Mahoney Centre ,166 Brousseau Avenue, Timmins, Ontario. Interment of her crematory remains will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery .
In Lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations to Timmins & Area Women in Crisis, SIL Program, CMHA, or CLTIC would be appreciated by the family
