Obituary for Joyce Gertrude Green (Yantha)
Green, Joyce of Petawawa passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Oct. 14, 2017 in her 87th. year. Loving and devoted wife of Don for 67 years. Cherished Mom of Donna(Doug) Covyeow Armstrong and Larry(Cathy). Treasured Nan of Lance (Rebecca) Covyeow, Jonathan (Beka Kehoe) Green and step-grandson Michael(Lori Anne) Armstrong. Fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren Conner, Mason, Allysa and Caleigh Covyeow and her step-great-granddaughter Emma Armstrong. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.Daughter of the late Stella and Joe Yantha. Dear sister of Donna(Bill) Trimble and the late Bunny(late George) Collins.Predeceased by Stella’s partner, Adam Twaddle; son-in-law, Lyle Covyeow and grandson, Lyle Anthony Covyeow. Respecting Joyce’s keen interest in the advancement of medical science she has donated her body to the University of Ottawa. A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced.
