In memory of Joyce
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joyce Marie Allen, age 80, of Moncton on December 16, 2017.
Joyce was born in Newcastle, N.B. and was one of triplets which was an event in 1937 and the talk of the town.
Joyce was a resident of People’s Park Tower for over 40 years and she loved doing puzzles and coloring in the Puzzle room. She was a long-term employee of both the T.E. Eaton Company in the catalogue department and the Castle Manor Nursing Home.
Joyce was pre-deceased by her parents Harry and Reta (nee Ullock) Allen, triplet brothers Harry Jr. (infant) and Gerald, sisters Norma Van Wart and Doris Downing.
Joyce will be missed by her loving Nieces – Paula Zacny, Deborah Van Wart, Cheryl Downing, Shawn Crossman and Nephews – Erin Downing, Jackie, Steve and Chris Allen, her Great-Nieces Vanessa Poulton, Leah Steeves, Jessica and Michelle Allen and Great-Nephews Jordan Zacny, Brandon Crossman, Matthew and Ethan Downing, Scott, Kory, Jonathan Allen, Thomas Lutes.
At Joyce’s request, there will be no visitation or service. A private burial by family will be held at Fair Haven Cemetery at a later date.
Donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to Friends of The Moncton Hospital.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Chris Gallant and the staff of the Moncton Hospital especially 5200 and 3600 Palliative Care.
