Joseph Ghislain Gauvin
1938-2016
Joseph Gauvin passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2016 at
The Moncton Hospital. Born in Jardine Brook, NB, he was the son of the
late Irené and Marie Marthe (Lainey) Gauvin. Joseph retired
as an Aircraft Technician from the RCAF after 31 years.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Marie Lillianne
(Savoie); daughters, Raymonde Gauvin-Currie (Ronald), Diane Gauvin
Maurey (Lloyd), Danielle Cormier; sons, Roger (Laurie), Lawrence
(Kimberly); sisters, Marie Gauvin-Juby, Alfreda Harkins, Rachel
Plamondon (Armand), France Danjou, Louise Boucher (Richard); brothers,
Claude (Denise), Robert (Francine), Serge (Sylvie); grandchildren,
Shane, Danielle, Brian, Travis, Madeline, Janelle and Lilianna; and
great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jacob, Gabrielle, Cameron, Emma, Jayce
and Kara.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.
Riverview (869-2007) on Sunday from 2 -4 pm and 6 – 8pm. A
funeral service will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home
Memorial Chapel on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 1:00pm with Father
Charles Broderick officiating. If so desired, donations made to The
Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or a memorial of the
donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
