John Vincent

John Vincent

After 84 years of a life well lived, John passed away peacefully with his family at his side. He was loved wholeheartedly and will be greatly missed by his beloved wife and partner of 52 years, Annette, his children Simone (David), John (Alexandra), Ian (Lynda), Melanie (Dominique) and the joys of his life, his six grandchildren, Devin, Justin, Aidan, Jennifer, Philippe and Nicolas. He will be fondly remembered by his many sisters, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. From humble beginnings in Georgetown, Guyana, his career at the Royal Bank of Canada spanned over 40 years and 4 continents. John’s life was enriched by the presence of friends, family and neighbours, with whom he travelled, played and laughed. Our thanks to Dr. Stephen Caplan and the members of the Division of hematology at the Jewish General Hospital for 10 years of outstanding care and support. Visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275, Sources Blvd., DDO H9B 2A6 514 685-3344 www.rideaumemorial.com on Thursday, February 11 from 6pm to 9pm. A funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 12 at 1pm followed by the Burial at Rideau Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, Division of Hematology or to the Old Brewery Mission.
