John Paul Kenny
1941-2017
On Saturday May 6th at the Victoria General hospital and
surrounded by his loving family John Paul Kenny sailed away. Left to
cherish his wonderful legacy is Mary, Karl (Brenda), Jackie (Josh
Stanley), Vicky (Chris Cudmore), Michael (Willow Wu) and wife Marland
(Stewart) Pappy’s grandchildren Hayden, Lucas, Owen, Olivia,
Tayah, Lilian, Alexa, Giselle and Brandon. His sisters, Vickie
Tremblay (Ralph Jackson) Carolyn MacFadyen (Donald). Sister-in-Law
Carolyn McMillan (Jerry). His nieces and nephews Michelle Jordan, J.P.
Tremblay, Josh MacFadyen, Dawn Baglole, Kathleen MacPhee, Bert Weir
& Tanya Weir Knudson. His Aunt Helen MacInnis
(Charlie-deceased) and many cousins.
Born in Charlottetown on Sept 26 1941 to Cmdr John and
Victoria (Tory) Kenny. Resided in Cumberland and Seal River homes
built with hands and heart. Wearing many hats in his career owning
Mrs. Kenny’s Bakery on Bayfield St., managing Charlottetown
Yacht Club, and operating Ken’s Korner Automotive.
John Paul was predeceased by his parents, his in-laws Robert
and Helen Stewart, his brothers Martin and Charlie, brother-in-law
Paul Tremblay.
No visitation or funeral service by personal
request.
A celebration of life will take place at the Charlottetown
Yacht Club on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 1 p.m.
