De Cotis: John (Giovanni)
Peacefully, at home surrounded by his family on Friday December 8th, 2017 at the age of 70. Predeceased by his first wife Clara (November 11th, 2002). Loving husband of Teresina (Terri). Devoted dad of Daniela (Michael Partipilo) and Tania (Ryan Emmott) and step dad of Francine (Brian Sorice) and Nicholas (Christina Tino). Cherished Nonno of Marcus, Clara, Joshua, Evan, Benjamin and Nathan. John will be sadly missed by his many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Our heart felt thanks to Dr. Gullane, Dr. Waldron and Dr. Hansen and his home care nurse Joy for all their love, support and care.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Sunday from 6-9 and Monday 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Padre Pio Church 5500 Major Mackenzie Drive, Kleinberg on Tuesday December 12th, 2017 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
