Peacefully surrounded by loving family, at the Prince
County Hospital Summerside on Friday November 17, 2017 of John D.
Campbell of Graham’s Road, aged 87 years. Born in Grahams
Road on July 13, 1930 son of the late Fred and Stella (Cousins)
Campbell. Husband of Lois J. (MacKay) Campbell. Father of Vernon
(Bertha) Campbell, Linda (Melvin) Paynter, Nancy Campbell (Gerard
Campbell), Glenn Campbell (Ronda Bellefontaine), David and Dean
Campbell. Grandfather to Pamela (Colin) Smith, Chris (Amanda) Paynter,
Daniel Paynter ((Hailey Lambe), Keir (Angela) Campbell, Russell
Campbell (Rosetta Parker), Margaret Campbell (Eric Brunsdon) Corey
MacQuarrie, Lindsey Bellefontaine (Jason Butts). Great grandfather to
Kate and Ian Smith, Will Paynter, Kaleigh and Owen Campbell.
Brother-in-law of Mary Ferguson, Duncan (Olga) MacKay and Mary Jean
MacKay. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by his brother Freddie Campbell.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for
visitation on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday
at St. John’s Presbyterian Church New London at 10:30
a.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery New London.
