Jack (John) Conner
It is with sadness, the family of Captain Jack Conner announces his
passing at the age of 85 on March 28th at Winston Park in Kitchener.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 56 years Jessie Olivia
(Little), his sisters Margaret Burgess and Helen Tinker. He is
survived by his brother Irvine (Carol) Conner. Father to Betty Conner
of Newmarket, Linda (Nick) St. John of Kitchener, Mary (Murray)
Stoddart of Elmira, and Laura Conner of Toronto. He was cherished by 8
grandchildren: Ryan and Sean (Heather) Stoughton; Alex (Cassy), Andrew
and Nicole St. John; Jessie (Chris) Percival and Wes (Tracy) Houston;
and Jake Conner. He was also loved by two great-grandaughters Mia and
Lily Stoughton. Jack joined the RCAF in 1949 retiring in 1979 as
Captain. His career took him across Canada and into Europe. He was an
excellent athelete enjoying playing, coaching and watching sports his
entire life.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Heart
and Stroke Foundation.
Memorial Service to take place Friday, March 31st at 3:00 p.m. at
Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas ST. N. Cambridge ON
