PARDOEL, Johanna (nee Boeren)
Johanna was born October 4th, 1930 in Boxtel, The Netherlands. She passed away unexpectedly at home, surrounded by her family, on October 28th, 2016, at the age of 86.
Loving wife of 58 years of the late Machiel Pardoel. She is survived by her brother Piet Boeren age 88 and her older sister Fien Vander Schoot age 93, both of The Netherlands.
Johanna was the youngest of 15 children and is pre-deceased by seven sisters and five brothers.
Loving and caring mother to Henry William (Michele) and Gerry Pardoel. Oma to Kate (Al), Adrienne (Damian), Scott and Trevor Pardoel.
Tante Jo to countless nieces and nephews in The Netherlands.
Johanna immigrated to Canada in 1953 at the young age of 22 as an adventure. After meeting her future husband in Canada, she decided to stay and to make a new life for herself and her family. The times were difficult at the start, but she persevered and worked hard to provide a warm, welcoming home for family and friends. All can agree that she succeeded in doing so.
Special thanks to Ria and Gerard Van Haandel, the familie van Kollenburg, Helma Rombouts, and Giny Pardoel, her life lines to our extended family in The Netherlands.
Many thanks to her great and kind friends, especially Virginia, Irene, Sheila, Amey, Leslie, and Connie and Alexandra, her close circle of friends.
A fabulous mother, mentor, teacher and friend, her warmth and compassion touched the lives of many. With her wry sense of humour and understanding she will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral mass will take place at St. Patrick’s Church, Lansdowne on Monday, October 31st at 10.00 am followed by interment at St. Patrick’s cemetery.
