Joan Muriel Allison
1946-2017
Joan Allison of People’s Park Tower, formerly of
Riverview, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.
Born in Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Dora
(Dunnett) Allison of Whitney. She was a retired underwriter with
Co-Operators Ins.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Hilda Allison of
Sudbury, ON, and Ruth Allison of London, ON; nephews, Dean(Rebecca) of
Beamsville, ON and Dale(Laura) of Vancouver, BC; a niece,
Rhonda(Norman) Askew of London, ON; as well as seven great-nieces and
nephews. She will also be missed by several dear friends. Besides her
parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Raymond and Delbert and
a nephew, Wayne Allison (Susan).
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (506-869-2007). A graveside service will take place in
Whitney Baptist Cemetery on Friday, June 2, at 1:00pm. Condolences may
