Entered into rest at the Kingston General Hospital on Monday April 17th, 2017, Joan (McNeil) Montgomery formerly of Lansdowne aged 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Carson Montgomery. Loving mother of Susan Smith (William) and Virginia Gentile of Lansdowne and Patricia Lynch (Edward) of Rockport. Cherished grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 17. Dear sister of the late Dorothy Burns (Lloyd) of Lansdowne and aunt of Deborah Cameron (Robert) of Perth.
At Joan’s request there will be a private family celebration of her life and private interment at Cross Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Joan, donations to the Leeds and Grenville Interval House, 21 Cowan Ave., Brockville, ON K6V 1W1, would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
