Joan Arsenault
1939-2017
Joan Bernice Arsenault, 77, of Havelock passed away Sunday,
February 5, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Portage, PEI she was the daughter of the
late Richard and Fanny (Waite) Biggar. Joan was a homemaker
and attended the Havelock United Church. She loved to sing
and play guitar and enjoyed knitting, cooking and most of all loved
her family and spending time with them.
She is survived and missed by her loving
husband Agno; children Karen Steeves (Randy), Elgin, Ron (Christine),
Petitcodiac, Arlene Steeves (Andrew), Kinnear Settlement and Lisa
Black (Perry), Canaan Forks; grandchildren Jason, Skylar, Nathan,
Olivia and Alex, and several nieces and nephews. Joan is the
last surviving member of her immediate family. Predeceased
by brothers Harry, Clarence, Clifford, Bill and Ervin; sisters Lila
and Helen.
Resting at Armstrong’s Funeral Chapel, 33 Russell
Street (756-3361) visiting will be Wednesday, February 8
from 7 to 9 p.m. and from where the service will be held Thursday,
February 9 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Stephen Brown officiating.
Interment at Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.
If desired, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Society
would be appreciated by the family.
