Jill Leanne Brymer
1976-2016
BRYMER, Jill Leanne, 40, Manchester, Guys. Co. passed away on
Friday, August 19, 2016 surrounded by her family in Guysborough
Memorial Hospital.
Born on May 8, 1976 she was the beloved daughter of Kenneth
and Frances (MacDonald) Brymer, Manchester.
Jill lived her life surrounded with love and faced all her
challenges with dignity and faith. She was a Special
Olympian, participating in many games and competing at the provincial
level. She enjoyed curling, dancing, and was a devoted
Ottawa Senators Fan. She was a member of St. Ann’s
Parish and was a former Altar server, a task that she took great pride
in. Jill attended Guysborough Options for Adaptive Living
Society and worked at Chedabucto Place/Guysborough Academy for many
years, where she made many lasting friendships.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her brother, Blair
(Lorraine) Brymer, Manchester and sister, Shauna (Fabian Doiron)
Brymer, Boylston; her nieces and nephews whom she adored: Dylan,
Colin, Breanne, Trent, Avery, Kendall and Carrie; numerous uncles,
aunts and cousins.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Hazel and John
Hayden; Alexander Brymer and William and Bernadine
MacDonald.
Visitation will be held in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home,
Guysborough from 7-9 p.m., Saturday, August 20 and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.,
Sunday, August 21. The funeral mass will be held in St.
Ann’s Roman Catholic Church on Monday, August 22 at 11 a.m.
with Father Daniel MacLennan officiating. Burial in the
Boylston United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to Guysborough Options for Adaptive Living
