Jean-Paul Bourque
1953-2016
Jean-Paul « J.P. » Bourque, 63, passed away on
Sunday, October 2, 2016 at The Moncton Hospital after a brief illness.
He was a great man who was much loved by all who knew him. Born in
Moncton, he was the son of the late Gerard and Alice (LeBlanc)
Bourque. J.P. was a crossing guard for over 20 years and loved life
and will truly be missed.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Beverly; sisters,
Terry Belliveau, Rose LeBlanc (Ronald), Kathy Maillet, Lorraine Milco
(Danny), Helen Bourque, Lucy Poulin (Joe), Lisa Greene (Daren) and his
brother, Gerry Bourque (Louise). Also by his granddaughter, Ashley;
grandson, Conner and great grandson, Seth. His special lady, Val. In
addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a nephew, David Maillet
(1996).
Special thanks to his good friend, Lillian. Many thanks to
staff at the Moncton Hospital for the great care they gave him and the
kindness they showed the family.
A Service to celebrate and honor J.P.’s life will
be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton
(858-1995) on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 1:30 pm. Interment will be
in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
