Died peacefully, in her 98th year, at Regina Gardens, on December 13th. Much loved wife of the late John Stevenson Smith and loving mother of Donna, Sharon Davis (Glenn) and Janice. Devoted grandmother of Judith Yoel (Gabi), Katherine Side (Brad), Stephanie Michelle, Kyle Davis (Gloria), Shannon Nelson (Dave), Justin Davis (Jessie), Katja Rischke and Curtiss Rischke; ten great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. She was the kind of grandmother every child wished for. She was truly a renaissance woman who sewed and knitted at a professional level, played championship golf until the age of 87, and will be remembered as one of the women who played professional softball during the war. She was in a league of her own. She was the last surviving member of the seven Lawrence siblings of Concession Street and will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
