Jean Dunnett May 7, 1929 – February 7, 2017

Jean Gertrude Dunnett, 87, of Riverview, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, February 7th 2017.
Born May 7th 1929 in Red Bank, she was the daughter of the late George and Alexie (Connors) Hubbard. She was predeceased by her husband Wilbur Edwin Dunnett, whom she married July 28, 1951. They left the beautiful Miramichi, and Jean taught school for many years until they made a home in Riverview where she raised their 5 children: Jim (Sandra), Jane, Bill (Troy), Mary Catherine (Michael Clarke) and Margaret Dunnett (Frank Campbell).
Her family was her greatest pride, and she will be greatly missed by her children and grandchildren: John and Alexie Dunnett, Katie, Will and Clara-Jean Campbell and Hannah, Elizabeth and Joshua Clarke.
Jean was a member of Trinity United Church and served in various groups and committees over the years. She enjoyed traveling and was able to visit many different destinations throughout her life; Maui, Scotland, Carribean Cruises and Walt Disney World were among her favorites.
The youngest of 7 children, she is predeceased by Mary, Kay, Alice, Willa, Jarvis, and George.
A service celebrating her life will be held Friday, February 10th at 11 am at Trinity United Church, 85 Old Coach Road, Riverview, with a reception to follow. Everyone welcome.
The family would like to thank Rev Janice MacLean and Michelle Murray for their outstanding care and kindness.
In her memory, donations may be made to Trinity United Church in Riverview.
