BISSETT (Baker) Jamie Louise, age 58, of Head of Chezzetcook, passed away on February 8, 2017 in the Dartmouth General after a short battle with cancer.
Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late James and Corinne Baker.
Jamie began her first career at the Moirs factory where she worked for 32 years. She then worked at Avery’s Farm Market in Dartmouth and later took a position at a call centre just before taking ill.
She also volunteered with Search and Rescue for many years. She enjoyed reading and going to yard sales. She treasured time spent with family most of all.
Jamie is survived by her husband of almost 41 years, Donnie; daughter Connie; grandchildren, Morgan, Jada, Cherish, and Jackson. She is also survived by her siblings, Tanya and Freddie and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister Heather and brother Bobby.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial gathering to be held at a later date.
