ROBINSON, James Albert « Jimbo »
Left this world with his loving Wendy « Willian » Sue at his side, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Jim of Peterborough, formerly of Drummondville PQ, and London ON, had just celebrated his 83rd birthday with all his favourite goodies, family and friends.
Beloved husband of Wendy (nee Smith) for 53 years.
Dear father of Brent (Linda), Kelli (David) and Brad (Pam).
Loving grandfather of Chris and Emily, Jill and Claire and Matt, Josh and Ben.
Jim enjoyed good food, good wine, good company and most of all a good argument. He was also an amateur still life photographer making sure to clear all human subjects away from the turkey for Thanksgiving and Christmas pictures. Jimbo loved watching Wendy perform in the New Horizons band, attending all performances. He was also a fan of all his children and grandchildren’s athletics. He loved nothing better than to bellow from the sidelines.
Jimbo will likely be strolling around the afterlife meeting and greeting everyone and finding a connection to either Drummondville or Montreal. The roads he walks on will never have potholes. Any new gadgets that are available he will be able to buy at will and never hide them from Wendy. As in this life, whatever they call him there, he will never ever be called late for dinner!

Cremation has taken place, following Jims’ wishes, a private family service will be held.
Wendy would like to thank Sarah, Jackie, Jaime, Kate, Leanne and the Palliative care team at Peterborough Regional Health Centre for all their wonderful care of Jim. Your hard work and thoughtfulness meant a lot to Wendy, Jim and the family.
