1918 – 2017
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on Sunday August 20, 2017 at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Robert Smith and late Rémi Léveillé. Devoted mother of Elizabeth Anne Lansdell (Keith), George Smith (Eva), Raymond Léveillé (Janice), Madeleine Urquhart (Andrew), Christine Larose (James) and Jeannette Lavigne (Robert). Cherished grandmother of Marc, Elissa (Nader), Kyle, Phillip, Luke, Brian (Leitia), Sarah (Brandon), James, Melissa (Nicholas), Scott, Shawn (Carla) and Julie (Oke). Loving great-grandmother of Mia, Amelie, Landon, Connor Urquhart, Phoenix, Connor Lavigne and Charlie. Isabella started her teaching career in the Hudson Township. She had a strong love for poetry and kept composing until her final days. The family would like to thank the caregivers at St-Mary’s Gardens and at the Extendicare for all of their care and compassion.
Memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Friday August 25 in the Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Friday August 25 from 1 pm to 2 pm at
