It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irma, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She passed away surrounded by her loving family after 97 wonderful years of life. She was predeceased by her dear husband Arthur; son-in-law George Bradley; brothers Edwin, Clarence and Avion; and sisters Gladys and Eleanor. Irma was the devoted mother of Gloria Bradley, Wayne (Linda) Pusch and Brenda (Ken) Korol; very special granny of David (Jennifer) Bradley, Chris (Sarah) Bradley, Brad and Benjamin Korol; great granny of Jack, Nick, Joshua, Thomas, Anna and Jane Bradley; sister Lois Johnson; sisters-in-law Irene and Ruth Pusch; as well as many nieces, nephews and treasured friends. After her marriage to Arthur in 1943, they farmed in the Coronation District of SK, where Irma was very active in community events, church initiatives, 4-H club activities and family celebrations. Many friends and family were recipients of her excellent cookies, buns and produce from her plentiful garden. In 1978, Irma and Art retired from farming and moved to Regina where they spent 21 gratifying years of retirement. After Art passed, Irma moved to Marion Gardens Condos where she made many wonderful and lasting friendships. In 2013, she embraced the next stage of her life and moved to College Park Retirement Residence where, again, due to her positive nature and ready smile she made more wonderful friendships. Irma took great pleasure in being involved in the activities these homes offered. Friends and family were always so important to her. Reading, solving puzzles, doing handicrafts and watching a variety of sports and game shows on TV occupied her spare time. The family is very thankful to Dr. Salgado and staff, the 5E medical team at the General Hospital and the staff at College Park Residence for their care and compassion. A FUNERAL SERVICE TO CELEBRATE IRMA’S LIFE will be held at St Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3510 Queen Street, Regina, SK on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Craig Moeller officiating. A full lunch will follow the service and then Irma will be laid to rest beside her husband Art at Regina Cemetery, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Irma may be made to the Saskatchewan Lung Association, 1231 8th St. E, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5 or St Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church. Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.
