SKELTON, Irene; It is with heavy hearts and fondest memories we share the loss of Irene who passed peacefully in her home on August 8, 2015 at the age of 63, surrounded by family. Cherished wife of David. Loving mother of Kristen and Michael and stepmother of Tracy and Jason. Devoted grandmother of Kyle and Madelyn. Irene was passionate in her career as an investment and retirement planner at RBC. Above this, she was a woman dedicated to her family and many friendships. She will be sadly missed but remembered with laughter and love by her family, friends and colleagues. A special thanks to Dr. Charlene Lockner for her compassionate care and to family and friends for their continuous support. A celebration of Irene’s life will be held at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME 21 Garrard Road Whitby (North of Dundas) 905-443-3376 on Saturday August 15, 2015 from 3 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.
