With grace, dignity and strength Irene passed away on August 23, 2016 at the age of 87, surrounded by love from everyone who knew her. She was the loving and devoted wife of the late Jim Morgan (1975). Beloved mother of Bob (Heather), Peggy (Gary), Ray (Leslie) and Teresa (Bruce). The sweetest grandma to Jennifer, Shawn, Alycia, Andrea, Brian, Mark, Matthew, Michael, Joey, Jessie and James and her five (5) great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Dr. Lahlou, the nurses and staff at the Verdun General Hospital Palliative Care Unit. As per her wishes a private celebration of her life will take place at a later date. Donations to the Verdun General Hospital – Palliative Care Unit in memory of Irene would be greatly appreciated.
