Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Imelda Gosse of St. Albert on the 4th day of August 2017, at the age of 87 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Ron; sons: Ron Jr., John, Paul, and Steve; 11 grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends. She will also be dearly missed by her dear friends at the Youville Home in St. Albert and at Harmony Home Care.
Imelda was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland. In 1965, Mel and Ron and their three children at the time, left Newfoundland and moved to St. Albert, Alberta. She enjoyed her job as Areas Counsellor for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Edmonton. In 1989, Ron and Mel both retired and enjoyed travelling south for the winters, and travelled several times to the Middle East where they always enjoyed being close to the ocean. Imelda was at her happiest surrounded by family and had a way of making everyone feel welcome with her smile.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Youville Home and her loving caretakers at Harmony Home Care. Your care and support for Imelda will always be remembered.
