Hubert King
1930-2017
INDIAN ISLAND, NB – Hubert King, 87, of
Indian Island passed away at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University
Hospital on Monday, November 6th, 2017. Before
retiring, Hubert worked as a truck driver. He was a member of the
Sunny Brae (Branch #54) and Richibucto (Branch #30) Royal Canadian
Legion and was a very active member of the Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha
Roman Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the Korean
War.
Hubert will be sadly missed by his daughter, Anne
Legere (Bob) of Lakeville; his two grandchildren, Kim and Chris; and
his five great grandsons, Tristan, Breadon, Dexter, Cleese and
Milo.
Hubert is predeceased by his daughter, Lorrie Gale;
son, Peter; and brother,
Roy.
Visitation will be held at the Indian Island
Community Hall, Church Street, Indian Island, starting Wednesday at
2:00pm until the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday,
November 10th, 2017 at 10:30am, Blessed Kateri
Tekakwitha Roman Catholic Church, Indian
Island.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.
