WINTERS, Hilda Mae Marie – Age 87, of Arcadia, passed away on November 11th, 2017 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Yarmouth with family and friends by her side. Born in Melbourne on May 13th, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Ethel (Fitzgerald) Perry; step father, Victor Bowers. She worked at Canadian Tire in Yarmouth for many years. Hilda is survived by her son, Allan (Barb) Winters, Raynardton; grandson, Shawn (Lindsay), Halifax; Mark (Sonya), Ontario; granddaughter, Tracy (Matthew) LeBlanc, Alberta; great grandchildren, Justin, Bridgewater; Tyler, Dartmouth; Jessica, Halifax; Sarah, Ontario; Emma, Ontario; brothers, Raymond Bowers (Dot), Arcadia; Eldon Bowers (Carol), Arcadia; Merle Bowers (Elaine), Brenton; sisters, Audrey Burke (Larry), Ontario; Gerry LeBlanc, Wedgeport; June Muise (Sylvestre), Quinan; Aunt Addie Cook whom she though a lot of. Hilda is predeceased by her husband, Judson Eugene Winters. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. By request of the family there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 17th at 2 p.m. in Lake George Cemetery. Memorial donations in Hilda’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. A special thank you to her friends, Carol Comeau, Bonnie Hubbard and Dol Doucette who were always just a phone call away. She will be surely missed by family and friends.
