Krauck, Helmut Theodor (H. Krauck Construction Co. Ltd.)
Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Elsbeth for 64 years. Loving father of Esther Krauck, Judy Tailer (Mark), Ruth Okum (Martin) and Hannah Bartel (Rudy). Proud Opa of Jesse, Remeus (Kelly), Cody (Karen), Raine (Barry), Elisha, Lara (Justin) and great-grandfather of Caleb, Skye, Kai, Keeley, Atticus and Thorsten. Dear brother of Johanna, Anita and the late Isolde. Survived by his cousin Edy Kuhn. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Helmut was a dedicated bricklayer and stone mason. He loved his Lord and was an avid gardener with extensive knowledge in all things Botany. Helmut was passionate about singing and music and was known for his beautiful tenor voice.
Helmut’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017 and from 12:30-1:15 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
