It is with great sadness the family of Helen Beniuk announces her peaceful passing on August 12, 2016, at the age of 96 years. She will be forever loved and missed but will live on in many beautiful memories.
Helen is survived by her daughters, Shirley Beniuk and Linda Puckrin; grandchildren, Leanne Bush (James), Stacey Clayton, Vanessa (Jeff) Antoniuk, and Matthew (Daria) Puckrin; great-grandchildren, Skylar and Tanner Bush, Pressley and Kingston Antoniuk, Caiden and Jack Puckrin; and many other relatives. Predeceased by her husband, Daniel, in 2009; infant son, Roger; grandson-in-law, Derek; parents, Mary and George Homeniuk; and siblings, Lena, Bill, Ann, Pearl, Rose, Nellie, George, and Alice.
Helen enjoyed her last years living at Rosedale Estates where she played bingo, danced, did word search puzzles, walked to Tim Horton’s for her maple dip doughnuts, and bowling at Bonnie Doon Lanes for 35 years. She made many friendships over the years who will also mourn her passing.

Funeral Service Wednesday, August 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Archbishop Joseph (Royer) officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut, 10985 – 124 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5M 0H9.
