Obituary
Helen passed away peacefully at Grandview Care.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Eldon Muttitt; sister, Dorothy and brother, John. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah and sisters, Neva, Ruth and Ethel.
Helen began her nursing career in Regina at the General Hospital where she met her husband of 65 years, Dr. Eldon Muttitt. They lived in Regina for several years before moving to Toronto then Montreal to continue their medical education. Helen specialized in Psychiatric nursing at the Clarke Institute then McGill. They returned to Regina, where Sarah was born.
In the early 60’s they settled in Edmonton. Helen loved their cottage in Pigeon Lake where she spent many summers with family and friends and her favourite dog, Oliver.
Helen was very knowledgeable of fine china and enjoyed working in the china department at Woodwards for several years.
Cremation has taken place.
If so desired, donations may be made to the Edmonton Humane Society or to a charity of your choice.
Sarah and Helen’s sisters wish to express their deepest gratitude to Henriette for her excellent, loving care of Helen as well as thanks to the Grandview staff.
