Helen Fitzsimmons 1940-2016 Helen Fitzsimmons, 75, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, July 30, 2016. Born in New Scotland Road, she was the daughter of the late John and Kathleen MacNeil. Helen enjoyed her time volunteering at the Magnetic Hill School, playing bingo, making crafts, playing cards with her many friends and spending time with her family. Helen will be sadly missed by her daughter, Mary Cudmore (David) of Adamsville and son, Dale (Tascha Daisley) of Moncton; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister, Margaret Fitzsimmons (Alvin) of Canaan Station; daughter-in-law, Shirley Hebert; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Willard Fitzsimmons (2008); daughter, Debbie (1997) and son, Willard Jr. (2016). In honoring Helen’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. A private family interment will take place at Lone Pine Cemetery at a later date.
