Hundt, Helen (nee Meyer)
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Lanark Heights LTC at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Walter B. Hundt (2016). Loving mother of Murray and his wife Ede of Hanover, Donald and his wife Sharron of Atwood, Janet St. Cyr and her husband Bob of Waterloo and Kathy Hundt of Stratford. Cherished grandmother to Cory, Cara, Toby, Holly, Lee Ann, Christian, Julie, Andrew and lovingly remembered by many great-grandchildren.
Helen was born in Kitchener and was the daughter of the late Victor and Lillian Meyer. She was predeceased by her brothers Rudy, Wilfred, Linus and Ralph Meyer and by her sister Agnes Hannusch.
Helen was a member of St. Joseph’s RC Church.
Helen’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2 – 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers will be recited on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 10:20 a.m. at the funeral home with a procession to St. Joseph’s RC Church (148 Madison Avenue South, Kitchener) for the Celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Reception to follow in the church hall.
