After moving to Dartmouth in July 1960, she became an active member of the Mary Bruce Unit, UCW, of Stairs Memorial United Church. She thoroughly enjoyed all family gatherings such as birthdays and all holidays. Besides her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by her son David Henry, brother Ralph (Florence) Smith, sisters Carol (Dewar) MacNeill and Hazel (Charlie) Stone. The family can’t thank the staff of Unit B at Oakwood enough for all the loving care that has been given to Beverley over the last five years. They have always gone over and above for her and the family is ever so appreciative of them all. A memorial service will be held at Stairs Memorial United Church, 44 Hester Street, Dartmouth on Friday June 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. followed by a reception in the church hall.
