Reunited with her beloved husband Ernie (2005). Loving mother of Glenn (Jan). Dear grandmother of Melissa (Daren) and Julia (David). Proud great-grandma of Zoe, Nolan and Julian. Special “mum” to Chappy Bettany. Hedy is also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews.
She joyfully reunites with her dear parents Fred and Anna, and siblings Hertha, John, Alvina and Henry. Hedy had a passion for painting, gardening and travelling with family and friends. She was a longtime member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church and the Ladies League.
If you so desire, memorial donations made to Gethsemane Church would be appreciated. Special thanks to the staff at Oak Park Terrace, St. Elizabeth Health Care, and the CCAC. Thanks also to Met ER and 5th floor for your compassionate support.
