Our beautiful Husband, Dad, Brother and Son passed away quietly on the evening of Monday, October 26, 2015. We are so grateful to have had him in our lives and will forever miss his kind heart, his easy-going and laid-back approach to life and his so very dry sense of humor. Harvey had a love of adventure and zest for life that made him so much fun to be with. He had a special way of focusing on what was truly important, and his daughters and son-in-law were top of the list in this regard. He will be forever remembered by his wife Debby; daughters Michelle and Melanie (Evan) Mandziak; his mom Lydia Kuntz; brothers Lorne (Bev) Kuntz and Calvin (Lorna) Kuntz; sisters Leona Volk, Shirley Costron, Corinne Kuntz, Roberta Kuntz, and Rita (Gord) Matt; parents-in-law Sebastian and Geraldine Wiome; as well as many very special nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his dad Jacob Kuntz; his sister Elaine Kuntz; and two nephews. Harvey was a proud member of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Union, and had worked in the trade for over 35 years. We would like to thank Local 119 of the Union for the support given to Harvey throughout his career and most particularly during his illness. We would also like to thank all the staff at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, and especially Doctor Mirjana Zarkovic and Nurse Paula, for the outstanding care and compassion provided to Harvey during his lengthy illness. A special thank you to Harvey’s siblings and their spouses, to Aunt Doreen and Uncle Louis, and to friends Tom and Lisa Schnell, Trevor and Laurele Otten and Warren LaMontagne for their unwavering support during the past several years. In keeping with Harvey’s wishes, a private family gathering will be held.
