Obituary Peacefully, with his family by his side, Guy Augert of Edmonton passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Isabelle (Bosc); daughter Claudette; son Vincent (Annjanette); grandchildren, Emma and Dominic; sister Juliette Vielfaure; brothers, Denis (Sandy) Augert and Réal (Natalie) Augert; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lyette Augert, Annette LeNéal, Marcien (Cécile) Bosc, Hélène Trudel, Lucien (Lorraine) Bosc. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Suzanne Augert; brother Marcel and sister Annette; brothers and sisters-in-law, Armand Vielfaure, Antonio (Louise) Bosc, Pierre, Jean, Sr. Evelyne and Claudette Bosc, Josaphat LeNéal and Luc Trudel. After retirement from Canada Post, Guy was involved with many francophone organizations. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, neighbors and good friends. His bond with his loving wife, his children and grand-children was very dear to him. He will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at U of A Hospital for their exceptional care. Funeral Mass will be held on 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Saint-Thomas d’Aquin Church, 8410-89 Street NW, Edmonton. Interment to follow at a later date in Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute of Edmonton.
